Job Title: Exercise Physiologist
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Commit to at least two blocks of 2.5 hours weekly, for a total of 5 hours per week (i.e. Mondays: 2:00-4:30pm; Wednesdays: 9:00 am-11:30 am; Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8:30-11:00 am etc.)
- Conducting maximal oxygen consumption (VO2) tests
- Collecting anthropometric data (weight, height, waist and hip circumference, hand grip strength)
- Filling out questionnaires (PARQ, Vo2 testing sheet)
Qualifications:
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Experience conducting maximal oxygen consumption (VO2) tests
- Licensed Kinesiologist, Physiologist, or Personal Trainer (proof of current license required)
- Experience with exercise testing and supervision
- Having worked with disease populations (e.g., cancer, diabetes) is an asset
