Marketing Director
Matt Pearcey is the current Marketing Director at the Alberta Kinesiology Association, a role he has held since the summer of 2023. In this position, he quarterback the organization's communication strategy, ensuring a united voice reaches members, potential members, the public, and key healthcare and political stakeholders. Motivated by a desire to support the association during a pivotal time in it's history, he leverages his extensive experience as a financial advisor to enhance the association's outreach and impact. Having stepped away from kinesiology to pursue his own business, he is passionate about helping the field of kinesiology thrive and creating more opportunities for kinesiologists in Alberta. With over a decade in the financial services industry, he understands the value of clear communication and the benefits of professional associations and regulators, both for furthering the profession and for setting and enforcing a high standard of care for the public.
