Amber Kyliuk, an experienced professional in the health and wellness field for over 30 years, is a graduate from the University of Winnipeg in 1997, her degree in Physical Activity & Sport Studies (now Kinesiology) was a springboard into lifelong learning of sport, movement, and yoga therapy.
With personal experience of persistent back pain, Amber extended her education towards pain management. She completed her mentorship with Cor-Kinetic in 2020 and pursued becoming a Registered Kinesiologist. Today, she is dedicated to helping those battling with daily persistent pain.
Amber is known for enjoying anything that involves g-forces and/or speed. She spent several years competing in Skeleton racing while continuing to nurture her love for downhill skiing, mountain biking, road cycling, hiking, and at one point even car racing.
As part of the AKA Board since October 2023, Amber is committed to enhancing professional development opportunities for Kinesiologists across Alberta. Additionally, she aims at boosting community recognition for Kinesiologists overall - an endeavor as challenging as it is rewarding.
