Dive Into a Coach Approach™ 1.0

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Whether you are a Kinesiologist working in a clinical setting, a health and fitness club, an insurance firm, have your own private practice, or aspire to or are currently in a leadership role, a Coach Approach will show you how to help your patients make changes that will accelerate their health and well-being or recovery by engaging them in effective coaching dialogue. Hélène Thériault is a leading expert in coaching in healthcare. Her Dive Into a Coach Approach™ method is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), and the American Occupational Therapist Association (AOTA). This transformative course is designed to reinvent how healthcare professionals lead and relate to their patients and staff, shifting healthcare from the inside out!

COURSE FEATURES

• On-boarding: Live virtual session - September 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST 
• Self-paced online module: 6-8 hours before the live session.
• Live Session - Learning: October 3, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
• Live Session - Practice: October 10, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
  • **Earn 15 professional development credits (Info session and Empowering Conversations)
  • **Earn 13 Continuing Coach Education Credits (CCE) with International Coaching Federation (ICF) 
  • **Earn 11 Coaching Units with National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)

MEET YOUR FACILITATOR

Hélène Thériault on faculty in the Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy at the University of British Columbia where she is a clinical instructor, fieldwork preceptor and offers her Coach Approach seminar to graduating therapists. She is also a certified Total SDI Facilitator and Leadership Circle Profile. Hélène combines over two decades of experience in the field, her Master of Adult Education, and her highest coaching credential, Master Certified Coach (MCC).

With her proprietary and accredited methodology “Dive Into a Coach Approach™”, Hélène trains and certifies healthcare professionals with a holistic framework that combines the best coaching practices, proven leadership skills, strength-based models, and a rich toolkit designed to boost business growth and create lasting results for patients. In recognition of her commitment to coaching, Hélène was honored as the 2023 International Coaching Federation (ICF) Emerging Coach Educator.
